The French chicken shed has moved from Normandy to Burgundy, and will be starting up again in 2018.
I will be breeding large fowl,
as well as the charming little Pekin, a true bantam and excellent broody hen.
I will be breeding Marans, the Buff Sussex,
the Cream Crested Legbar, and the Lavender Wyandotte.
Also I will be hatching out the Ross, a fast growing meat bird.
My chickens not only lay eggs, but they look beautiful too, and would be an asset to anyone's garden.
My breeding stock is sourced from top quality farms, breeding show quality chickens.
They will be fed on good quality grain,
and will be regularly protected against internal and external parasites.
As in Normandy, they will all have their own runs which will be grassed and shaded, with bushes and trees, plus the run of the orchard.
My chicks will be hand-reared to make sure they are as friendly as possible,
making it a joy to care for them.
Visitors will be welcome next year, but please ring or Email first.
